- The Heavy Kevlar will set your armor amount to 200. It does not add 200 armor, but instead, it sets your current armor amount to 200, regardless of your previous armor level. These armor points are excellent for making sniper rifles, pistols, and slower assault rifles redundant, but are extremely vulnerable to rapid-fire weapons that carve through armor, such as the DEW-3 and M249. To maximize its effectiveness, it is recommended to use this before applying any armor that stacks. This ensures you get the full benefit of the Heavy Kevlar before adding additional protective layers.
