Insurrection Termination From AEGIS
For years, Insurrection has been a foundational part of this community. Founded in 2022 and evolving from a small faction into a 300+ member movement, we have dedicated ourselves to providing free, advanced tools and systems for Day of Dusk. We built, supported, and empowered players across the entire community, shaping the game more than any other group.
On November 2, 2025, after everything we contributed, AEGIS responded not with respect, but with a corrupt blacklist. This action, taken for alleged violations of the “Eco System” guidelines, was unjustified, dishonest, and devoid of any professional due process. It was personal, retaliatory, and executed with zero respect for our years of service.
Our Position
- The termination is unjustified and retaliatory. The accusations are either factually incorrect or pertain to issues never formally communicated to us with sufficient detail or a chance to respond before the blacklist was issued.
- The procedure was deficient. AEGIS provided no meaningful notice, no clear statement of specific violations, and no reasonable opportunity to correct any issues. Decisions of this severity require transparency and proportionality, standards that were completely ignored.
- This was a personal betrayal. The AEGIS owner benefited from our tools for years only to stab us in the back the moment it became convenient.
Response to the False Accusations
- “Removal of specific paid bot features.”
- This claim is flat-out false. Insurrection had an optional donor feature for a single, small part of our bot, a Discord duty state maker using the Gyazo API. This was not a locked paywall; anyone could use the feature for free with their own API token. We only offered a donor option because the free Gyazo API is too limited for our scale; we paid for premium service to ensure a better user experience.
- When Dylanjkl demanded its removal, we removed it immediately. He now pretends we did not. He is lying.
- “Removal of community harassment from banners.”
- Another fabricated accusation. We were never messaged, or asked to remove anything prior to receiving a vague strike.
- The banner on our site stated: “craze_jkl is Dylan’s little dog, and Kylo1Vader is the punching bag of AEGIS.” This was a direct response to the constant harassment and insults those individuals directed at us. If AEGIS attacks Insurrection, we will defend ourselves. That is who we are.
- Furthermore, we maintain the right to speech on our own platform. AEGIS had every chance to handle this respectfully through dialogue. They chose censorship and punitive strikes instead.
What This Means & The Actions We've Taken
AEGIS has publicly demanded everyone leave Insurrection. Since they chose to play authoritarian, we acted responsibly to protect our community.
- We have deleted all user accounts and all stored personal data from our website to protect everyone's privacy and safety.
- Our website is now fully functional without requiring any login.
- Our Discord bot remains available and can now be added to any server without restrictions.
If you want to keep using our tools, do so confidently. Use the bot in a private server. AEGIS cannot track you. They cannot stop you.
Insurrection will not accept summary punishment without accountability. We remain committed to supporting our users, defending fair process, and providing the services the community relies on.
