Meltdown Guide

By MrGermanyGT April 8, 2025
  • Welcome to the Meltdown Guide. Below is a detailed, step-by-step process on how to cause a meltdown. This guide outlines the necessary fuel and heat needed to achieve a meltdown. Make sure you have at least one partner helping you. Causing a meltdown solo is possible but challenging, depending on the number of divisionals in the game. Ensure the reactor has a minimum of 1,500 fuel for an easier meltdown. Having less fuel means it will take longer to achieve one. Thank you for your attention, and let’s get started.

Heat Needed

  • 7000

Fuel Needed

  • 1500

Location

  • Coolant / Reactor Room

  • Step 1: Turn off both coolants. Do not touch anything else inside.
  • Step 2: Go to the reactor control room. Ensure someone stays at the coolant to make sure it remains off.
  • Step 3: In the reactor control room, set the rods to 0 and the fuel to 10. This speeds up the process but consumes fuel quickly.
  • Step 4: Protect the coolant and reactor until the meltdown. Make sure no one turns the coolant back on or drains the fuel.
  • Step 5: Once the temperature reaches 7,000 and the alarms start, you have successfully caused a meltdown.
